To get the best results, drop 2-3 drops of water onto your paint. Let the paint sit in the water for 2-5 minutes to let the pigment activate. Swirl your brush into your paint and off you go!

Different amounts of water can be used to create thinner or thicker coats of paint.

To get the best colour payoff with your paint, you must let water sit ontop for at least a few minutes to really activate the pigment. Watercolour is naturally a layerable art medium and so you will need to layer the paint to get a completely opaque finish.

Our paints are made from all natural ingredients including gum arabic, vegetable glycerine, honey, clove oil and mica powders/iron oxide.

Our paints can be used for a variety of things, they can be used traditionally on watercolour paper or on any porous surface such as wood, fabric and clay(dry).

Watercolour paint is water soluable and so it wont work on any none porous surfaces, for eg. Leather or shiny surfaces such as glass or plastic.

Although we do use cosmetic grade pigments, we do not recommend you put the colours on your skin or face.
